Wedding Venue: Kent Island Resort
The historic Kent Island Resort is Maryland’s Eastern Shore premier wedding destination. It’s the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions alike! Since it’s located at few hundred yards from the peaceful waters of the Chesapeake Bay, it’s just a short drive from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Annapolis. However, it feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The venue’s Manor House has welcomed guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation for more than 220 years. It’s expansive gardens, grassy lawns, and 2 miles of water front provide couples with a myriad of options for deciding where they will exchange their vows. Plus, you have your choice of the Pavilion for a beautiful tented wedding, the Farmstead which can easily accommodate up to 200 guests for the dance party reception of your dreams, or enjoy picturesque waterfront views from the privacy of the more intimate Garden House, set in lush formal gardens that are a few short steps from the waters of Thompson Creek! While the pavilion is ideal for spring, summer, and early fall celebrations, the Farmstead and Garden House are the perfect alternative for the chillier months.
